Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Where is Speech Garden located?

Speech Garden offers different treatment settings. We do not operate out of one specific location.

At this time, we mainly provide home health services in the Collierville, TN area. If a family is located outside of Collierville, please inquire to further discuss our service area.

When possible, our therapists enjoy providing treatment sessions at local parks and other outdoor settings to incorporate nature and movement in therapy.

Speech Garden is also partnered with local preschool programs. Please contact us if you are interested in your child receiving services at their daycare or preschool setting.

Does Speech Garden accept insurance?

We are in the process of credentialing with certain insurance providers to make our services more accessible. In the meantime, we do want to make sure our clients have the option to seek reimbursement for our services, so we will provide a super bill that includes any billing codes that may be needed in order to explain services and diagnoses to the insurance company. This will ensure that our clients will have all of the necessary information to file for reimbursement, even if we are not credentialed with their specific insurance company.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We understand the importance of flexibility in accessing quality care, and we are pleased to inform you that we accept private pay clients.

At Speech Garden, we also take into consideration different financial situations. Twice a year, Speech Garden opens up an application for financial assistance and clients will be chosen based on various factors that are outlined in the application. Please feel free to contact office@speechgardentherapy.com for more information on when and/or how to apply.

How much do services cost?

The cost of services depends on the type of service and/or speciality area. Please contact office@speechgardentherapy.com for more information.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
